BCN Breast Course – Robot & Endoscopic Breast Surgery Course in Barcelona

WELCOME

From the “Catalan Society of Breast Sinology and Pathology” we have organized this course on minimally invasive surgery in the mammary gland.

The course is divided into 2 days:

On the first day, in the morning, a robotic mastectomy will be performed using a multi-port Da Vinci XI platform with immediate reconstruction at the Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital. Attendees will be able to follow the surgery using virtual reality glasses for greater immersion and learning.
On the first day, in the afternoon, presentations and videos of endoscopic and robotic surgical techniques will be screened at the Centre for Comparative Medicine and Bioimaging of Catalonia.
On the second day, morning and afternoon, participants will perform endoscopic surgeries (mastectomy and axillary lymphadenectomy) on cadaver models at the Centre for Comparative Medicine and Bioimaging of Catalonia.
